Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and create personalized treatment plans utilizing best practices and solution-based interventions.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy sessions, group therapy, and crisis intervention, tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with state regulations, ensuring high-quality documentation to support client care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and addiction specialists, to provide integrated care for our clients.
• Engage in case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance the quality of care delivered, fostering a collaborative spirit among team members.
• Educate and support clients and their families, empowering them with information on mental health topics and the resources available for ongoing support.
• Stay informed about the latest research, clinical practices, and developments in the mental health field to continually improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCSW at Well Being Workshop, you will work primarily with individuals seeking detoxification services and mental health support. Our patient population is diverse, often presenting a range of psychological conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role will be instrumental in not only addressing their current challenges but also equipping them with coping strategies and resources to promote long-term recovery and well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience specializing in psychotherapy, preferred within a substance use or mental health treatment setting.
• Strong proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a detox or substance use treatment environment is highly desirable.
