Southern Wellness Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and proactive Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our compassionate team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clientsโ€™ mental health conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices to formulate effective treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual counseling sessions for clients experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress, fostering a supportive atmosphere conducive to recovery.
  • Provide therapy for couples and families, helping clients navigate relationship dynamics and conflicts through communication strategies and conflict resolution.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment objectives, including interventions that align with client goals and honor their individual circumstances.
  • Deliver crisis intervention support, addressing acute mental health issues and ensuring clients receive immediate, effective care.
  • Educate clients and their families regarding mental health issues, equipping them with coping strategies, resources, and tools to navigate their mental health journey.
  • Maintain precise and confidential client documentation, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Adhere to best practice guidelines, including ethical standards and legal regulations that govern counseling practices, ensuring clients feel secure and respected throughout their treatment.

Qualifications
