Job description

Clinical Intake Physical Therapist (Remote)
(Licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant Required)
Pelvic Path Physical Therapy™ - San Rafael, CA (Remote, Per Diem)
Why This Role Exists
Before someone becomes a patient, they need to believe healing is possible - and feel safe enough to say yes
to it. That first conversation matters enormously in pelvic health, where most of the people we talk to have
never discussed these symptoms with anyone before, and may feel embarrassed, dismissed by other providers,
or unsure this kind of care even exists.
As our Clinical Intake Physical Therapist (Remote) you won' be running a sales script. You'll be having a real, clinically-informed
conversation - helping someone who's uncertain, overwhelmed, or quietly struggling understand that there's a
path forward, and that Pelvic Path™ is the right place to walk it with them.
Who You'll Be Talking To
Our patients are primarily women navigating pelvic floor dysfunction, prenatal/postpartum concerns, pain, or
related conditions, alongside men dealing with pelvic health issues of their own, including post-prostatectomy
and post-surgical recovery. You'll need to speak comfortably and credibly across this full range.
What You'll Be Doing
• Take Discovery Calls as they're scheduled onto your personal calendar - appointments are booked for
you, not something you source yourself
• Reconnect with older or cold leads - past inquiries, cancellations, and no-shows - not just fresh inbound
contacts
• Listen first - understand what someone has already tried, what they're afraid of, and what "better" would
mean to them
• Follow our proven call structure and scorecard as your foundation - and once you're converting and
hitting the key checkpoints, you're encouraged to adapt the language to fit your own voice and the person
in front of you
• Address hesitation and objections with clinical credibility and genuine empathy - and confidently guide
the person to book their evaluation
• Log every conversation and next step in the EMR so no one falls through the cracks
What Success Looks Like
• Prospective patients feel heard and informed, and say yes to taking the next step
• Strong conversion from Discovery Call to scheduled and attended eval
• Consistent, timely follow-through on every lead - no one falls through the cracks
• A growing reputation, internally and externally, as the warm, credible first voice of Pelvic Path™
Compensation
• Base pay: $20/hour (W2, per diem) + commission
• Target total compensation equates to $50-75/hr
Hours
• Per diem / flexible hours, based on need about 20hr/week
• Some evening availability may be helpful depending on patient scheduling patterns
Tools & Support Provided
• Onboarding and training on our clinical model and call approach
• A structured call script and scorecard to guide your calls and track performance
• Live coaching from our extended coaching team of cash-pay PTs
• EMR/CRM access and ongoing feedback
You're a Great Fit If You...
• Are a licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant - this is non-negotiable, because trust in this specialty is built on real clinical understanding
• Are genuinely comfortable talking about pelvic health - bladder, bowel, pain, sexual function,
pregnancy/postpartum, post-surgical recovery - with warmth and zero awkwardness, regardless of who's
on the other end of the call
• Lead with empathy and curiosity before you lead with information
• Know how to hold a caring conversation and ask for the commitment - you're comfortable closing, not
just informing
• Are organized and reliable with follow-up - nothing gets forgotten
• Are looking for a role you can grow into as we grow - not just a short-term gig
Our Culture
We're a high-end, heart-centered practice - intentionally different from insurance-driven, volume-based care.
We believe in being "regulated to relate": we care for ourselves so we can hold space for patients. We model
the same balance and self-care we ask of the people we treat. This role is a front door to that culture, not
separate from it.
