Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing psychotherapy services, utilizing evidence-based practices to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage with clients through various communication methods, including video calls and secure messaging, to foster a therapeutic relationship.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer support groups to enhance professional development.
• Stay informed of the latest industry trends, treatments, and methodologies relevant to mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working primarily with teens, adults, and couples facing a variety of mental health challenges. This may include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. Your ability to provide empathetic and culturally competent care will be essential in supporting these individuals on their journey towards well-being.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist, including LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or an equivalent license.
• A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in mental health counseling.
• Strong skills in treatment planning and mental health counseling, particularly with diverse populations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey therapeutic concepts and engage clients.
• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
• Experience and comfort conducting virtual appointments is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in telehealth environments or those who have previously worked with digital health platforms will find this role especially rewarding. Familiarity with evidence-based practices tailored to adolescents and families is also advantageous.
