Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
  • An active and valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license issued in Virginia.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in telehealth practices and technology, demonstrating adaptability in virtual counseling settings.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, with a proven track record of successfully treating diverse populations.
  • Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Crisis Intervention strategies and experience in emergency response situations.
