As a Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ethical and compassionate individual counseling sessions via secure video conferencing.
• Employing solution-focused treatment modalities to enhance client outcomes effectively.
• Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client.
• Facilitating meaningful discussions with clients to help them gain insights into their emotions, relationships, and personal experiences.

• Collaborating with fellow counselors and utilizing our counselor portal to access resources and documentation efficiently.

Your caseload will primarily consist of stable, low-acuity adults who present with a variety of mental health needs. The focus on this demographic allows you to engage with clients in a constructive manner, assisting them in developing the skills necessary to enhance their quality of life. To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related field, such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• A current, state-issued mental health counseling license, including LMFT, LCSW, or LPC, that allows for independent practice.
• No limited or provisional licenses and no past disciplinary actions on your license.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a naturally empathetic demeanor.
• Proficient computer literacy skills, including the ability to navigate digital platforms for telehealth sessions.
• A reliable computer equipped with a webcam and audio capabilities for conducting virtual consultations.
• A consistent and stable internet connection to ensure seamless communication with clients.

In addition to the qualifications listed, preference will be given to candidates who possess:

• Two or more years of documented experience providing counseling services, preferably in a telehealth setting.
• Familiarity with solution-focused therapy and other evidence-based practices.
• Experience working with diverse populations or specific demographic focuses that align with our client base.
