Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

Addison Group is hiring for our client, a leading healthcare organization, seeking a Self-Pay Credits Specialist to join its Revenue Cycle team. This position is responsible for reviewing patient accounts, researching credit balances, determining refund eligibility, and ensuring accurate resolution of self-pay account discrepancies.

The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare revenue cycle, enjoys problem-solving, and can confidently navigate insurance information, patient accounts, and reimbursement guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review self-pay credit balances and determine appropriate account resolution
  • Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and insurance payments
  • Interpret payer contracts and reimbursement guidelines
  • Review complex account documentation to determine refund eligibility
  • Research account discrepancies and identify root causes
  • Resolve patient credit balances accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate professionally with patients regarding refund questions when needed
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve account issues
  • Maintain detailed documentation of account activity and resolutions
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations and organizational policies

Required Qualifications
