Position Overview

Paragon Behavioral Health Center is seeking skilled and compassionate licensed mental health therapists, specifically LMFTs, LPCs, and LCSWs, to join our dedicated team. This full-time remote position allows you to make a significant impact on the mental health outcomes of our patients while working from the comfort of your home. Our therapists play a crucial role in developing and implementing tailored therapeutic interventions that align with best practices in the field.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of working remotely, which is designed to improve work-life balance and job satisfaction. Our work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to meet the diverse needs of our clientele.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments through structured interviews and standardized tools to determine patientsโ€™ psychological needs and strengths.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques, drawing from modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that empower patients and foster community connections, addressing prevalent concerns like coping with anxiety or managing stress.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care that considers all facets of mental and emotional health.
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization support in urgent situations, applying your clinical skills to ensure patient safety and well-being.
  • Educate patients about their mental health conditions, discussing treatment options and resource availability to promote informed decision-making.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, reflecting all clinical interactions and treatment progress.
  • Actively participate in case consultations and team meetings, bringing insights and collaborative strategies to enhance patient care.
  • Stay updated on advancements in the field of mental health therapy through ongoing training, fostering a commitment to lifelong learning.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base comprises individuals of all ages, from children to seniors, who are experiencing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. Therapists will engage with diverse populations, focusing on culturally competent care that respects and addresses the unique backgrounds and experiences of each patient.

Qualifications
  • A relevant masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and a firm understanding of effective, evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive mental health assessments and formulate impactful treatment plans.
  • Prior experience providing individual and group therapy is highly valued, especially with diverse demographic groups.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication and rapport-building with patients and team members alike.
  • Solid ethical judgment, professional boundaries, and a commitment to continuing education and personal development.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant technology to document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately.
Preferred Experience
  • Clinical experience in outpatient settings, particularly with community health services.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working with specific populations, such as those affected by trauma or substance use.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
