In this full-time position, you will leverage your expertise in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology to provide essential therapeutic interventions to clients aged 18 and older. Your work will focus on fostering stability and independence among individuals experiencing mental health issues, all while using a compassionate, recovery-oriented approach.

About the Organization

Vibrant Health Counseling Center is dedicated to transforming the landscape of mental health services through innovative, client-centered care. Based in Chicago, Illinois, we offer a unique telehealth model that enables us to deliver mental health services remotely, thereby enhancing accessibility for clients in need. Our mission revolves around empowering individuals to achieve their personal goals and reintegrate into the community with confidence and support.

Work Environment

As a remote organization, our Telehealth facility allows you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home or any location of your choosing. This flexibility not only enables you to maintain a healthy work-life balance but also positions you to reach a diverse client population across various regions. Our supportive team collaborates virtually, ensuring that every mental health counselor has access to ongoing resources and peer support, ultimately enhancing the therapeutic experience for both counselors and clients.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Regularly evaluating clients' progress and modifying treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Guiding clients in enhancing coping strategies, communication skills, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Coordinating with community resources to educate clients about services available to them and advocating on their behalf to facilitate connections.
  • Documenting all clinical interactions in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies—keeping paperwork to a minimum with our streamlined documentation processes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adults who face various mental health challenges that impede their ability to engage fully in their communities. This includes clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health issues. Your role is vital in helping them assert control over their lives by fostering independence and enhancing resilience, thus contributing significantly to their overall well-being.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD) as mandated by state regulations.
  • The ability to practice independently, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
  • No disciplinary actions on your professional license and a record of providing direct clinical services.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to connect empathetically with clients.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools, ensuring you have a reliable Wi-Fi connection for video sessions.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience is highly desirable:

  • Prior experience working in telehealth or remote counseling settings.
  • Familiarity with treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
  • Background in community mental health and collaboration with social service agencies.
  • Experience in leading support groups or workshops focused on mental health and coping skills.
Compensation and Benefits

At Vibrant Health Counseling Center, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:

  • A sign-on bonus to welcome you into our team.
  • Weekly direct deposit for prompt payment.
  • Comprehensive insurance coverage, including health, dental, and vision.
  • Possibilities for a full client caseload to be established within your first week, enhancing your job satisfaction and earnings potential.
  • Minimal administrative paperwork, allowing you to focus on client care.
  • Unlimited referrals—unleashing your potential to grow your client base rapidly.
