In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering clinical services and individual psychotherapy sessions through telehealth platforms, ensuring adherence to professional ethical standards.
• Developing and implementing personalized, recovery-oriented treatment plans based on comprehensive client assessments.
• Regularly evaluating clients' progress and modifying treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Guiding clients in enhancing coping strategies, communication skills, and problem-solving techniques.
• Coordinating with community resources to educate clients about services available to them and advocating on their behalf to facilitate connections.
• Documenting all clinical interactions in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies—keeping paperwork to a minimum with our streamlined documentation processes.

You will primarily work with adults who face various mental health challenges that impede their ability to engage fully in their communities. This includes clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health issues. Your role is vital in helping them assert control over their lives by fostering independence and enhancing resilience, thus contributing significantly to their overall well-being.

To ensure you are well-prepared for this position, the following qualifications are required:

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD) as mandated by state regulations.
• The ability to practice independently, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• No disciplinary actions on your professional license and a record of providing direct clinical services.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to connect empathetically with clients.
• Proficiency in using digital tools, ensuring you have a reliable Wi-Fi connection for video sessions.

While not mandatory, the following experience is highly desirable:

• Prior experience working in telehealth or remote counseling settings.
• Familiarity with treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Background in community mental health and collaboration with social service agencies.
• Experience in leading support groups or workshops focused on mental health and coping skills.
