Job Summary
The Inside Vehicle Sales Representative serves as frontline support for the Inside Sales Vehicle Sales Manager. You will collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Asset Management to make the customer buying experience as smooth and efficient as possible. This role is equal parts administrative precision and customer engagement - the job is never the same twice, and there's always something to do.
What You'll Do
Sales Administration & Processing
Manage the end-to-end sales process including titling, licensing and legal sale documents. Maintain cash logs, collect funds accurately and timely, and ensure all mandatory compliance requirements are met (Sarbanes-Oxley, Safety STAR Program and related initiatives). Work closely with the Inside Sales Vehicle Sales Manager to keep sales processing efficient and on schedule. Maintain vehicle sales compliance with local, state, federal and other regulatory agencies.
Customer Experience
Work directly with prospective and established customers to gather all applicable information needed to reduce processing time and enhance their overall experience. Communicate proactively via email and phone to build and expand customer relationships. Bring energy, organization and genuine care to every interaction.
Sales & Marketing Support
Structure all ancillary products (Finance and Extended Warranty) to meet customer needs and fulfill Ryder's expectations. Support the Inside Vehicle Sales Manager in maximizing sales time by streamlining support activities and improving current processes.
Team Collaboration
This team works in a live, shared file environment - when someone is out, others step in and cover seamlessly. You'll need to be comfortable working collaboratively in real time, maintaining file accuracy and communicating clearly with teammates throughout the day.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maximize sales time by providing responsive, accurate sales support to the Inside Vehicle Sales Manager
  • Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance across all required areas
  • Streamline and improve sales processing activities on an ongoing basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Customer service experience - any industry considered
  • Ability to work independently and as a fully contributing team member
  • High energy, self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Personable and team-oriented; the team is communicative and collaborative by nature, and culture fit matters here
