About the Opportunity:

Solid Rock Recruiting is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a partnered truss manufacturing company that has a long and respected tenure in Florida and is growing.

Due to continued growth and strong project flow, the company is seeking a Lead Truss Designer who brings deep Alpine expertise and the ability to support a high-performing design team.


This role is open to remote candidates with the right experience and production mindset.

Key Responsibilities
• Design roof and floor truss systems using Alpine
• Review architectural plans and perform structural layouts
• Lead complex residential and light commercial projects
• Provide guidance and technical support to design staff
• Collaborate with sales, estimating, and production teams
• Ensure designs meet company standards and building codes
• Support continuous improvement in design efficiency

Required Background
• 10+ years of wood truss design experience
• Advanced proficiency in Alpine required
• Strong residential and light commercial experience
• Proven track record handling production volume
• Self-motivated and effective in a remote environment
• Prior lead or senior designer experience strongly preferred
