• Conduct secure and confidential online therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families utilizing advanced telehealth technology.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' relational dynamics, mental health issues, and familial contexts, paving the way for personalized treatment plans.
• Apply family systems theory and systemic interventions to address communication barriers, relationship challenges, and family crisis situations effectively.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and their families.
• Maintain detailed and confidential electronic client records, progress notes, and treatment plans according to legal and ethical standards.
• Educate clients about effective communication techniques, conflict resolution strategies, and coping mechanisms tailored to their unique situations.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team of mental health professionals to guarantee comprehensive care and holistic outcomes for clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with advancements in marriage and family therapy and best practices.

In this role, you will support a diverse array of clients facing emotional and relational challenges. The patient population includes individuals from varying backgrounds, including couples navigating relationship issues, families seeking to improve their communication dynamics, and individuals experiencing mental health concerns. By employing teletherapy, you will effectively reach clients in diverse geographic locations, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs.

• A current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• Possession of a Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• At least two years of practical experience in providing therapy in a mental health setting, demonstrating your capability to facilitate productive therapeutic relationships.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, vital for establishing rapport in a remote environment.
• A commitment to ethical practices and maintaining client confidentiality at all times.
• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive independently in a remote work atmosphere.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate clients situated in various time zones.

• Experience delivering teletherapy or remote therapy services is advantageous, but not strictly required.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms will aid in ensuring efficient service delivery.
• Specializations in particular therapeutic models or methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, or trauma-informed care.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
