Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team at the Complex Psychotherapy Center. This full-time role offers you the opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise while providing flexible mental health services via telehealth to clients across various demographics. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations, utilizing clinical interviews and standardized tools to identify clients' mental health needs, concerns, and goals.
  • Facilitate engaging one-on-one counseling sessions for clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and stress-related issues.
  • Lead couples and family therapy sessions to effectively address complex relationship dynamics, enhance communication skills, and resolve family conflicts, ensuring all voices are heard in a safe space.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized treatment plans that are tailored to each client’s needs, setting clear objectives, interventions, and monitoring progress.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients facing acute mental health crises, employing de-escalation techniques and appropriate interventions.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, and develop coping strategies that empower clients to manage their symptoms effectively, while also connecting them to community resources.
  • Document and maintain accurate, confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, focusing on assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measurements.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirements that govern the counseling practices, ensuring informed consent and safeguarding client confidentiality.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience and proficiency in delivering a range of counseling services.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to establish trust and connect with diverse clients.
  • A high degree of empathy, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all client interactions.
  • A commitment to cultural sensitivity and awareness of various socioeconomic and social issues that may affect clients.
  • Dedication to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices in the mental health field.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a telehealth setting is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome a willingness to learn and adapt to virtual modalities.

  • Competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
