Heritage Wellness Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team in Irving, Texas. This full-time position involves providing essential outpatient therapy services to individuals and families affected by cancer diagnoses. This position offers a remote work environment, providing the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from your home while having access to a climate-controlled office setting when needed. • Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of patients, using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, to determine their mental health status and craft individualized care plans that consider cultural diversity and specific patient needs.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of patients continuously, implementing therapeutic interventions and strategies tailored to their mental health diagnosis to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all treatment records, reports, and clinical information utilizing current technologies, in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Collaborate closely with patients and their families to develop comprehensive treatment plans that reflect the specific needs, preferences, and goals of each individual.
• Foster partnerships with other clinicians and referral agencies to coordinate care effectively, ensuring seamless transitions and follow-up for our patients.
• Provide education and mentorship to students, interns, and volunteers, helping to cultivate the next generation of mental health professionals.
• As directed by your clinical supervisor, participate in peer review and clinical collaboration activities, enhancing team member development and overall service quality.

This role primarily focuses on individuals and families dealing with the emotional and psychological impacts of cancer. Our patients often face unique challenges that require tailored therapeutic approaches. You will utilize supportive counseling and therapeutic techniques to help them navigate their cancer journeys with resilience and hope.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A current State License to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

While not required, experience working with patients diagnosed with cancer or other chronic illnesses is highly valuable. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and experience in outpatient settings will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
