Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, from initial consultations to follow-ups, ensuring comprehensive documentation throughout the client's treatment journey.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that align with the unique needs of each client, tailoring interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Facilitate engaging and effective therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, focusing on evidence-based methodologies to encourage emotional and behavioral improvements.
  • Regularly monitor and document client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to enhance effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including psychiatrists and medical professionals, to optimize client care, particularly for those transitioning from hospital settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid licensure in the state as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.
  • Successful passage of the NCE and/or NCMHCE credentialing exams.
  • Demonstrated prior experience in a counseling role, with an emphasis on mental health.
  • Experience utilizing electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR.
