This remote outpatient position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while engaging deeply with clients through virtual sessions. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a broad range of therapeutic practices aimed at facilitating recovery:

  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories, understanding their unique experiences and needs.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on overcoming trauma, enhancing resilience, and fostering emotional regulation.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients effectively.

  • Recognize and respond to crisis situations by providing immediate support and intervention.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves clients dealing with a variety of trauma-related issues, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • A relevant Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.
