Job description

School Occupational Therapist  – 2026/2027

A school district near Columbus, OH, is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This school-based contract opportunity offers the chance to work with a K-12 caseload.

Qualifications:

Active Occupational Therapy license in Ohio or eligibility to apply 

Ohio Department of Education Certification
Experience working in school-based or pediatric OT settings preferred, but not required 
Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
Ability to efficiently conduct evaluations, develop plans of care, and document services


Key Responsibilities:

Provide OT services to PreK–12 students in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines
Perform evaluations and participate in eligibility meetings
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
