Focal Mind Psychotherapy is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to gain insights into clients' unique challenges and strengths.
• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs, utilizing evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and solution-focused therapy.
• Facilitating therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and groups, fostering an environment where clients can express themselves and work through their concerns.
• Equipping clients with effective coping strategies and tools to enhance their emotional well-being, addressing issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflicts.
• Coordinating care by collaborating with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to each client's care.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records compliant with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards, ensuring the highest level of patient confidentiality.
• Providing crisis intervention and risk assessment when necessary, demonstrating your ability to respond to challenging situations with professionalism and care.
• Engaging in regular team meetings and case reviews to stay aligned with best practices and enhance your clinical skills through shared learning opportunities.

Your role will primarily focus on supporting individuals and families from diverse backgrounds experiencing a variety of mental health issues. This includes but is not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and other emotional challenges. Your ability to create a safe and empathetic space will be crucial for fostering trust and encouraging clients to engage in their healing journey.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Active LMHC license in the state of Oregon.
• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience, with new graduates with clinically supervised hours being considered.
• Proficiency in trauma-informed care practices along with evidence-based therapies such as CBT and solution-focused approaches.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to approach clients with compassion and empathy.

While not mandatory, the following experience will be advantageous:

• Prior work with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, which will facilitate seamless documentation and case management.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $130,000 per year, with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
