Work Environment

This position will be entirely remote, allowing flexibility in your work environment while staying connected with your colleagues and support staff. You will engage with clients through virtual platforms, ensuring accessible and responsive care. The role involves routine virtual meetings with team members to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies, promoting a collaborative approach to mental health care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate individual needs and create customized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective interventions to patients.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that provide community for patients dealing with common mental health issues.
• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services when needed, offering timely support during emergency situations.
• Educate clients on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower their recovery journey.
• Maintain precise and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to continually improve treatment outcomes.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field through ongoing professional learning and development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic is diverse, encompassing individuals dealing with a wide spectrum of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with various age groups and backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet each client's unique needs consistently.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.
• Experience in conducting impactful mental health assessments and formulating actionable treatment plans.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and connection with patients.
• Emotionally resilient, with a firm commitment to maintaining professional ethics and boundaries.
• Comfortable utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and progress tracking.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technologies is advantageous.
• A history of working with underserved populations or community mental health services is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
