Job Summary
Responsible for managing General Accounting function and staff including preparation of performance reviews. Manage the monthly general ledger closing procedures including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and account analysis. Additional duties include preparation of monthly & quarterly analytical reports from Oracle and Hyperion including balance sheet, profit & loss, and internal departmental reporting. Coordinate and support the quarterly reviews and annual audit process. Responsible for maintaining, monitoring and documentation of strong internal controls. Support various projects as assigned.
Essential Functions

  • Manage accounting staff including coordinating, prioritizing, and reviewing group tasks/projects.

  • Monthly accounting close procedures and financial statement preparation.

  • Prepare, analyze, and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.

  • Provide standard monthly & quarterly reporting and ad-hoc analytical reporting.

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual planning and forecasting process.

  • Coordinate and support the quarterly reviews and annual audits, including internal controls testing.

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Accounting

  • 5-10 years of related experience

  • Personnel management experience

  • Oracle experience


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Advanced Excel skills


Travel Requirements

  • 10-15% Domestic and International travel required

The annual salary for this position is:

$120,000.00 to $135,000.00

This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan. Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
