You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:
  • Experience with Java development in building enterprise applications
  • Experience with Spring Boot framework for developing RESTful APIs
  • Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle, and ORM frameworks, such as Hibernate or JPA
  • Experience with containerization using Docker
  • Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle, and version control systems such as Git
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and clean code practices
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and implement robust, scalable backend services
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems design
  • Experience with orchestration with Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, including using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
  • Experience with AWS services such as EKS and ECS
  • Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ for event-driven architectures
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks and integration testing
  • Knowledge of API design best practices, including OpenAPI or Swagger documentation
  • Knowledge of security best practices for API development and authentication or authorization mechanisms

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
