Job description

Position Overview

Oracle Counseling Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our team in a full-time remote position. As a critical member of our outpatient psychiatric office, you will play an integral role in providing high-quality mental health care to diverse client populations, focusing on a variety of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders.

Work Environment

This position operates in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while providing therapy. The successful candidate will be involved in many facets of patient care, including teletherapy sessions and participation in virtual team meetings. The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility may be required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments that accurately identify patients’ psychosocial needs and inform individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer various evidence-based therapeutic interventions through modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, whether in individual, couple, or family settings.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at fostering community and addressing prevalent mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and comprehensive treatment approaches.
  • Provide timely crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support for affected patients.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and available community resources, enhancing their understanding and engagement in their treatment.
  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality and accuracy in documentation, adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.
  • Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education programs to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Stay informed about recent research, advancements in therapy practices, and new treatment modalities to continually improve patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling from an accredited institution is mandatory; however, a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work is preferred.
  • A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida is required.
  • Establish a strong foundational knowledge of various mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities.
  • Demonstrated skill in conducting assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.
  • Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, with a focus on diverse populations.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication abilities that foster trust and rapport with patients.
  • Demonstrated professional judgment and ethical adherence in clinical practice.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Relevant experience in an outpatient mental health setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with treatment methodologies specific to substance abuse or trauma-informed care is a plus.
  • Prior involvement in program development or group facilitation is advantageous.
