Mend Care Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a fully remote capacity. • Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients to inform treatment planning and address specific mental health needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client assessments, goals, and evidence-based practices.
• Consult and counsel clients in a variety of settings, including outreach to schools and correctional facilities to provide mental health support.
• Facilitate referrals to community resources and services when applicable, ensuring clients have access to the necessary support systems.
• Provide education to clients and their families about mental health issues to foster understanding, coping strategies, and adherence to treatment recommendations.
• Support patients facing challenges related to substance use and trauma, utilizing specialized programs as needed.
• Engage in regular supervision and consultation with team members to uphold the highest standards of care delivery and ethical practice.

You will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals across various age groups and backgrounds. This role requires a compassionate approach to address common mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. • A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Must possess a current, valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques and client engagement.
• A deep understanding of mental health theories, research, and current best practices in the field.
• Strong capabilities in communication, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on effective interviewing techniques.

• Experience with specific mental health modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, or trauma-informed care.
• Familiarity with regional community resources and the ability to navigate complex systems effectively.
• Previous experience working with family dynamics and systems in a therapy setting is preferred.

You will be compensated competitively, with a salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year.
