Strategic Vertical Markets - Director - Data Center Sales - East Location: Remote USAHiring for one Director role (Data Center Sales East)Position SummaryThe Director of Data Center Sales is responsible for leading and expanding the company's data center solutions business across colocation, connectivity, power, cloud, network infrastructure, and associated distribution products. This role drives strategic sales initiatives, accelerates revenue growth, develops key customer and partner relationships, and ensures the company's offerings remain competitive within the telecom and technology distribution markets.Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in English is required. Candidates who are trilingual in English, French, and Spanish are strongly preferred and will be prioritized for consideration.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the national sales strategy for data center solutions and telecom distribution products.Own revenue targets, forecasting, and business development initiatives.Identify new markets and product opportunities.Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team.Build and maintain executive-level relationships with data center operators, telecom carriers, cloud providers, distributors, integrators, and enterprise clients.Serve as subject matter expert on data center technologies.Collaborate with product, operations, engineering, logistics, and marketing teams.Manage a robust sales pipeline and lead RFP/RFI responses.Represent the company at industry conferences and partner events.Qualifications - RequiredBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.8-12+ years of sales experience in data center, telecom, or distribution industries.Proven track record leading sales teams and exceeding multimillion-dollar targets.Strong knowledge of data center ecosystems.Executive-level communication and negotiation skills.Qualifications - PreferredExperience with major carriers, cloud providers, and global data center operators.Familiarity with distribution channel models.MBA or advanced degree.Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)Annual revenue growth and quota attainmentExpansion into new markets and strategic accountsSales team performance and retentionSales cycle efficiencyMargin improvement and customer satisfaction scores
