Remote Oracle Developer Jobs in Ontario (NOW HIRING)

LeverageTek is actively seeking an Project Manager Oracle Retail for a 2-year term position with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

• Preference for Ottawa-based candidates. Remote candidates will also be considered.

Key Tasks

• Lead and manage full lifecycle Oracle Retail implementations (Merchandising, OMS, Xstore, Order Broker, Customer Engagement) including design, build, testing (SIT/UAT), go-live, cutover, and hypercare support
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables; develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards
• Act as primary point of contact for business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and leadership; provide regular status updates, risks, and mitigation plans
• Lead cross-functional teams including functional and technical consultants, QA teams, system integrators, and business users
• Oversee solution architecture and system integrations with upstream and downstream systems
• Manage risks, issues, change requests, and scope creep effectively
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, financials, and reporting
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure delivery meets agreed SLAs

Key Qualifications

• Strong hands-on implementation experience across the full Oracle Retail Suite (Merchandising, OMS, Xstore, Order Broker, and Customer Engagement), with demonstrated ability to deliver complex, multi-module deployments within large, governance-driven organizations.
• Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale Oracle Retail implementations through full go-live cycles
• Solid understanding of end-to-end retail business processes — including merchandising, pricing, promotions, inventory, store operations, and finance — with the ability to bridge business and technical teams in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification with strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
• Experience with integration technologies, batch processing, and data migration
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira or MS Project
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to influence and drive consensus across cross-functional teams
• Oracle Retail certification is a plus
• Experience working in large retail environments or transformation programs

Salary $97420 - 114660 annually
