• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, allowing for the identification of patient needs, strengths, and challenges to inform personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to deliver effective interventions to clients.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups, offering clients the opportunity to connect, share experiences, and learn coping strategies for common mental health struggles.
• Provide crisis intervention services to clients facing immediate emotional distress, ensuring their safety and comfort while assessing the situation.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage in team consultations and staff meetings, collaborating with colleagues to discuss challenging cases and share best practices for comprehensive patient care.
• Stay current with mental health research and treatment methodologies, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our therapeutic practices.

Oracle Counseling Center serves a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing a wide array of mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use challenges. Your role will involve providing culturally competent care, addressing each patient’s unique experiences, backgrounds, and needs.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in Illinois.
• Solid understanding of mental health conditions, treatment practices, and diagnostic criteria.
• Proven experience in conducting assessments and delivering therapy in individual and group settings.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective patient interactions and rapport building.
• Ability to uphold ethical boundaries and demonstrate sound clinical judgment.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and a basic proficiency in using computer applications.
• A collaborative spirit, with the capability to engage actively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Previous experience in a community health or outpatient setting is highly beneficial.
• Experience working with a diverse client population, particularly marginalized and underserved communities.
• Background in developing and leading therapeutic groups or workshops focusing on various mental health topics.
• Desire to engage in continuous professional development, including attending trainings and workshops.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
