Specializing in acute crisis stabilization, psychiatric care, and detox services, The Vines Hospital serves adolescents and adults struggling with addiction or mental health issues. Our programs boast a committed and expert multidisciplinary treatment team dedicated to providing the highest level of care.
Position Overview:
Ocala offers a unique blend of community-oriented lifestyle and easy access to city amenities, and is situated approximately one hour from Tampa and Orlando. Position Overview:
- Employment Type: 1099 Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatrist
- Schedule / Hours: Monday-Friday day hours
- Call: one night a week after hours telephone call, 1:4 weekend rounding
- Patient Volume: Will vary, ages 12 and older
- Location: Ocala, FL
- Practice Setting: Inpatient ages 12 and older
- Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers, and Therapists
- Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
- Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
- 1099
- BC in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry preferred.
- Active or eligible FL license
- Active DEA
- Comfortable treating ages 12 and older
