Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients through virtual consultations to identify their mental health needs and challenges.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique circumstances of each client, employing evidence-based methodologies.
• Provide ongoing therapy sessions, helping clients tackle issues such as low self-esteem, addictions, family conflicts, and suicidal ideation.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client sessions, ensuring that all data is accurately documented to track progress and treatment efficacy.
• Refer clients to psychiatrists or advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) for further evaluation when necessary, facilitating integrated care delivery.
• Collaborate constructively with clients' family members to provide support and monitor behavioral changes in conjunction with treatment goals.
• Utilize crisis intervention techniques to manage emergencies effectively, ensuring clients receive immediate and appropriate support during difficult times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes a broad spectrum of individuals facing mental health challenges, particularly those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. As a remote counselor, you will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds and geographies, providing them with accessible mental health support tailored to their specific situations. Your guidance will contribute significantly to their recovery and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a community health setting or with a diverse patient population is highly valued.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms for effective virtual counseling.

Compensation and Benefits
