As a mental health counselor, you will play a critical role in providing psychoeducation and mental health support to a diverse clientele. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals from various mental health backgrounds, ensuring a supportive and innovative approach to mental health care. Regular virtual meetings will facilitate communication and professional development within our cohesive team structure.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans under clinical supervision.
• Deliver psychoeducation on perinatal mental health, including assessment, intervention, and follow-up services.
• Implement assigned treatment plans, documenting daily progress notes, attendance, discharge summaries, and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Facilitate and lead therapeutic groups and workshops, creating a safe space for clients to share their experiences.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times while adhering to the Code of Ethics of the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.
• Establish and nurture relationships with community resources, referral sources, and local agencies to enhance client support and care.
• Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training sessions to improve clinical skills and team collaboration.
• Assist with social service needs as required, advocating for clients to ensure they receive comprehensive support from a variety of community organizations.

Your focus will include supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges related to the perinatal period, as well as other diverse client backgrounds. You will work with clients of varying ages and circumstances, promoting mental well-being and resilience through tailored interventions.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) as required by Washington state regulations.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Impeccable ethical standards, including a clean history with no medical malpractice claims verified by a third party.

• Prior experience conducting psychoeducation and facilitating therapeutic groups.
• Familiarity with JCAHO, Medicaid, and DBH standards.
• Experience in outpatient mental health settings.
