• Provide individualized therapy strategies tailored to meet each client’s unique needs through thorough assessments and evaluations.
• Conduct evidence-based therapeutic interventions, delivering sessions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, grounded in established methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards while simultaneously fostering a safe and respectful environment for all clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development, including participating in workshops and training to remain current with mental health research and practices.

Our diverse client population includes individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use disorders. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Summit Psychotherapy Health Clinic, you will be instrumental in delivering compassionate care and personalized therapeutic strategies that empower clients on their journey toward healing and recovery.

• A Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in New York State.
• At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical environment is essential to provide effective therapeutic care.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice is mandatory.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for establishing rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Experience working with specific populations, including but not limited to children, adolescents, families, or individuals dealing with substance misuse.
• Specialization in therapy modalities such as family therapy, couples therapy, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.

The salary range for this position is competitive, falling between USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, complemented by performance bonuses and a generous sign-on bonus.
