This position offers the flexibility of a remote setting, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. While our team operates primarily online, our collaborative spirit remains strong through regular virtual meetings and case discussions. Our standard operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. • Conduct detailed mental health assessments, focusing on each patient’s unique cultural and personal experiences to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapies, utilizing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices adapted to the cultural context of patients.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, with an emphasis on building resilience and promoting mental well-being.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure holistic and timely care for our patients.
• Offer crisis intervention and support, responding to mental health emergencies with sensitivity and efficacy.
• Educate patients about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available community resources, empowering them to take active roles in their recovery.
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR), adhering to all legal and ethical standards of practice.
• Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training, ensuring that your practice is informed by the latest developments in the field.
• Stay updated with current research and best practices in mental health care to enrich our therapeutic offerings.

This role directly impacts a diverse client population, including ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ communities, and immigrants. By bringing a culturally competent perspective to therapy, you will address varying needs and help foster an environment where all patients feel understood and validated.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.
• Strong foundational knowledge of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and cultural competence in therapy.
• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and group therapy with an understanding of culturally responsive practices.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills with a composed approach to handling challenging circumstances.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications essential to the role.
• Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality throughout your practice.
• A collaborative spirit, with a desire to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably serving diverse populations.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling practices.
• Experience in leading or participating in community outreach programs aimed at mental health awareness.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with your experience and expertise.
