Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be expected to:

  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions with a focus on developing therapeutic relationships and building trust.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of adolescent and young adult clients.
  • Participate in regular case discussions to share insights and leverage the expertise of your peers for collaborative care planning.

  • Utilize digital mental health tools and platforms to facilitate remote sessions effectively, ensuring all communication is secure and confidential.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The client population you will support primarily consists of adolescents and young adults dealing with various mental health challenges. You will work with a maximum of 8 clients in group therapy settings, allowing for more intimate and in-depth interactions that promote sustained healing. Your role will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys, ensuring they receive personalized attention and care.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
  • Independent licensure (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) is necessary, though we welcome junior-licensed clinicians as we provide supervision for those seeking to develop their skills.
  • Availability to contribute between 12 and 40 hours per week depending on the employment type (contract vs. W2).
Preferred Experience

While we are open to candidates with varying levels of experience, the following are advantageous:

  • Previous experience working with adolescent and young adult demographics.

Compensation and Benefits
