Description
Her Campus Media is seeking an Advertising Operations Manager to support the execution and management of digital advertising campaigns for our brand and agency partners. In this role, you will oversee the implementation of mid- to large-scale digital marketing campaigns, working closely with both the wider HCM internal team and our network of clients and partner agencies. You will be a collaborative partner for our Sales, Planning, Integrated Marketing, and Creative Services to ensure successful delivery and continual optimization of all digital campaigns, and help drive innovation and growth across the ad ops space.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and execute the implementation of multiple concurrent ad campaigns across display and paid social, from start to finish, and ensure successful, timely execution according to contracts/IOs, media plans, and client KPIs.
  • Optimize inventory management for ad placements on owned and operated channels (display and paid social), newsletters, native content, and others, updating and training internal team members as needed.
  • Work with clients and agencies to manage technical implementation of third-party rich media creative. Thoroughly test and QA all ads prior to launch.
  • Oversee paid social campaigns from implementation to execution on platforms like TikTok, Snapchat, and Instagram. Serve as the subject matter expert for new offerings, formats, and optimization opportunities.
  • Track and optimize campaign performance over time and provide performance and trend data to help shape future campaign strategy.
  • Research, pitch, and help implement strategies and tools to improve ad serving, reporting, creative development/management, audience growth, and general campaign performance metrics (viewability, fraud, conversion, etc.).
  • Coordinate with outsourced vendor and network partners, handling administrative and technical tasks associated with launching campaigns.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 3+ years of experience in an advertising operations role, either at an agency or at a publisher, strongly preferred.
  • Required skills: Google Ad Manager, proficiency in third-party tracking tags/pixels and reporting platforms, data analysis, client-facing experience, personnel management
  • Preferred skills: Paid Social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest), Funnel, Asana, Experience with third-party verification partners (MOAT/DV/IAS), Google Workspace, Dropbox, Slack
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment
  • Experience in client-facing work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
