Job description

Demand Generation Specialist

Kansas City | Full-time | Remote/Hybrid

Who is PureCars?

PureCars is automotive’s AI-enabled data and marketing platform, helping dealers and OEMs turn customer data into results. We consolidate and cleanse customer data across every source, then activate it through direct and mass marketing at every stage of the customer journey — powered by a suite spanning CDP, identity resolution, data mining, digital advertising, and AI solutions, recently strengthened by the addition of AutoAlert, the long-time leader in automotive data mining. Trusted by the best dealers in North America, PureCars is a certified provider for 25+ OEM programs, compliant with 40+ brands, and serves 65 of the top 100 dealer groups in North America.

Job Summary - Demand Generation Specialist

PureCars is seeking a Demand Generation Specialist to build and scale the multi-channel engine that fuels our pipeline. In this role, you’ll translate our dealer technology into high-converting campaigns across email, paid, organic, and ABM channels for our largest dealer groups. Partnering closely with Sales, Customer Support, and our Campaign Operations Manager, you will co-design and execute strategy—turning interest into qualified opportunities. If you excel at bridging product capability with dealer needs and want to help build a demand engine largely from the ground up, let's talk.

What You'll Do:

  • Launch and scale multi-channel demand-generation campaigns across digital channels, including email, paid social, and search, to drive engagement, conversions, and qualified pipeline
  • Design targeted buyer journeys informed by dealer group intelligence, buying group dynamics, and industry signals
  • Collaborate closely with the Campaign Operations Manager, incorporating their execution and creative perspective directly into campaign strategy decisions
  • Partner with Director, Product Marketing and Demand Generation to define and operationalize named dealer-group strategies, segmentation models, and buying group engagement for target accounts
  • Execute coordinated account-based marketing programs that nurture dealer groups through the customer  journey
  • Measure campaign performance across channels and run continuous experiments to improve engagement, conversion, and pipeline generation
  • Accelerate marketing-generated pipeline by optimizing conversion across the full funnel, from lead acquisition through opportunity creation
  • Architect and operate the marketing automation engine for lead acquisition, campaign execution, reporting, and funnel insight

The Skills and Experience You Bring:

•     4+ years of experience in B2B marketing at a growth-stage company

•     Proficiency with Salesforce, Salesforce Account Engagement, and HubSpot for campaign management, automation, and reporting

•     Experience with AI marketing tools and workflows that meaningfully enhance performance, not just generate copy

•     Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt campaigns across segments, roles, and audiences

•     A builder mindset - proactive in identifying problems and shipping solutions

•     Data-driven aptitude, comfortable using dashboards and performance metrics to guide strategy and track pipeline and revenue impact

•     Comfortable working in a small team where campaign strategy is shaped together, not decided in isolation

•     Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities with partial guidance

•     Experience in automotive retail or dealership technology preferred, but not mandatory

•     Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Bonus Points For:

•     Experience marketing to both individual automotive dealers and large enterprise dealer groups

•     Familiarity with the automotive retail technology landscape (CRM, CDP, data mining, digital advertising, or service marketing tools)

Perks at PureCars:

  • Culture: Join a team of like-minded and driven individuals who are passionate about providing the industry's best customer success experience.
  • Rich Benefits Plans - Health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid parental leave, and more!
  • Open PTO Policy - Take what you need, when you need it.
  • Work From Anywhere - From home, the beach, or your favorite coffee shop. Work where you want to!
  • Radical Transparency - All employees have direct access to our executive leadership, whether in recurring town halls or direct conversation and mentorship.

PureCars is committed to building diverse teams and upholding an equal employment workplace that is free from discrimination. We hire amazing individuals regardless of their race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, gender identity, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, pregnancy, medical conditions, genetic information, disability, or Veteran status. Just be passionate, genuine, collaborative, data-driven, and entrepreneurial at heart!
