Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, your focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who participate in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). These clients face a range of mental health challenges and require a nurturing and supportive therapeutic environment where they can explore their issues deeply and work towards recovery. You will play a key role in advocating for their well-being and facilitating their journey towards healing.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy is required.
  • Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Connecticut.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of evidence-based counseling practices and methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment while managing client care independently.
Preferred Experience

While specific years of experience may not be mandated, prior clinical experience working with young adults and/or in community health settings is strongly preferred. Familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
