Smart Media Group is a premier media analytics, planning and buying agency headquartered in Alexandria, VA. Our experience includes all platforms and levels of media from national network campaigns to local event marketing.
As an Advertising Operations Manager, you will work closely with the Account Executives. This role will execute media strategy across multiple media platforms, monitor delivery and oversee reporting. The ideal candidate has experience in advertising and political campaigns. 
RESPONSIBILITIES : 

  • Implement and manage digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms (e.g.,  Google Ads, Facebook Ads, programmatic advertising channels and OEMs). 
  • Collaborate with Account Executive teams to ensure ad campaigns are aligned with client objectives, budgets, and creative guidelines. 
  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance on an ongoing basis to meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI) goals. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ad serving, tagging, tracking, and reporting. 
  • Prepare and present detailed campaign performance reports to internal teams and clients, highlighting insights, trends, and recommendations.

  • Stay up-to-date with digital advertising trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and efficiency. 
  • Ability to organize multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. 
  • Enthusiasm to learn a variety of software products including Tableau.

QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • One or more years of hands-on-keyboard experience within at least one DSP
  • The ability to analyze data and extract insights from ad platforms, Excel spreadsheets,  and dashboards.  
  • Bachelor’s degree, go getter attitude.
