ROCKWOOL is currently seeking a Key Account Manager, Lumber and Building Materials Channel, to join our Sales team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of National Accounts experience and will have the ability to travel 50%, nationally. This position reports to the Sr. Key Account Manager, U.S. Building Insulation and has no direct reports.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Key Account Manager, LBM Channel, you will influence a high-performing sales team and play a key role in translating data into national growth strategies, driving market expansion, and enhancing the customer experience through actionable insights. This role combines residential building materials acumen, leadership capability, and data literacy-someone who thrives at the intersection of people, performance, and strategy.
Strategic Leadership & Market Growth
  • Develop and execute a national business plan aligned with national sales strategy and organizational objectives.
  • Identify emerging market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities using data-driven insights.
  • Partner with marketing, finance, and product teams to shape go-to-market strategies and optimize LBM Channel performance.

Data-Driven Performance Management
  • Leverage CRM and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, to analyze performance, track KPIs, and drive decision-making.
  • Translate sales data into actionable insights to optimize territory coverage, pricing, and channel mix.
  • Use predictive analytics to improve forecasting accuracy and optimize sales productivity.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key LBM Channel customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Represent the company in regional and national market activities, trade shows, and strategic customer reviews.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (marketing, operations, supply chain) to ensure customer excellence.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Identify and champion opportunities to digitize sales processes and enhance data utilization.
  • Support implementation of new tools and dashboards that improve efficiency.
  • Contribute to company-wide initiatives that transform the sales organization into a strategic, insight-led function.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business (MBA preferred).
  • 5-10 years of experience within the LBM Channel, preferably in a multi-region, B2B environment.
  • Strong relationships and expertise in the building materials sector
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans using data and analytics.
  • Demonstrated success working through change and digital transformation.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using CRM and BI tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

The base salary range for this position is $125,000.00 - $140,000.00. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions. This position is bonus eligible.
