Job description

Job Title: Salesforce Performance Tester Remote

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and ensure the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of Salesforce applications across multiple environments.
  • Develop and execute performance test strategies specific to Salesforce applications on Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
  • Build and run performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.
  • Simulate user loads for Salesforce UI, Experience Cloud portals, API integrations, and batch/async processes.
  • Validate response times, throughput, latency, governor limits, platform events, and async queue responses; document performance defects with detailed logs.
  • Capture, analyze, and report performance metrics related to Apex, SOQL queries, flows, REST/SOAP APIs, LWC Components, etc.
  • Evaluate integration performances across external APIs, AWS/Snowflake data fetches, and authentication flows.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and cross-functional teams to optimize performance and set up advanced system performance monitoring.
  • Verify scalability for high traffic portals, high volume APIs, seasonal surges, and enterprise releases.
  • Participate in Agile development initiatives, including standups, planning, grooming, and estimation.
  • Conduct peer reviews of test cases and documentation.
**Requirements**
  • 8+ years of hands-on performance testing experience, including at least 4 years of Salesforce performance testing.
  • Proficiency in navigating Salesforce and understanding its terminology, with experience working on large, complex Salesforce projects.
  • Experience in QA test management on Salesforce, including functional and non-functional testing, executing Test Plans, Regression Test Suites, UI, backend, components, and integrations.
  • Hands-on experience creating automation test scripts from scratch and performing test automation activities.
  • Experience with tools like Micro Focus/OpenText, Performance Center (LoadRunner), Selenium WebDriver, and Cucumber, integrated with Jenkins/GitHub.
  • Developing testing documentation such as Test Summary Reports and traceability reports; analyzing performance test results for bottlenecks and optimization.
  • Testing Salesforce-to-Snowflake ETL/ELT pipeline performance.
  • Knowledge of API performance testing (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical topics effectively.
  • Must have resided within the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
  • Willingness to obtain a CMS Public Trust clearance (T4).
