What You'll do:

Groundswell is looking for experiencedTechnical Delivery Managersto provide integrated architecture support for our delivery teams, drive implementation success, and act as a trusted advisor to our clients. Technical Delivery Managers help scale our business by providing expert guidance on solution delivery and integrating cutting-edge Appian solutions into our clients' architecture. They will mentor our delivery teams on best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design and implement internal processes and tools to improve the efficiencies of the business.

Our Appian practice is led by Appian alumni with decades of total experience delivering mission-critical Appian solutions at scale, leveraging our award-winning solutions, component libraries, and foundations. Every day, you'll be teaming up with a diverse, enthusiastic, multi-disciplinary team of creative minds with a smart sense of humor.

What You'll Be Working On
Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical success
Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions that fit their unique needs and ecosystems
Guide implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies
Support pre-sales activities to close new business - scope/level of efforts, respond to proposals, prepare SOWs, advise on project approaches, and present methodologies
Evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit in client or back-office implementations
Create and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablement
Provide thought leadership on process improvement and delivery practices
Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools
Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources

How You'll Excel In Your Role
5+ years of experience with Appian solutions
5+ years of related IT experience
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area
Strong experience with Agile delivery
Strong integration (data, reporting, etc.) design and development skills
Experience evaluating and resolving issues found during system security testing
Experience with PaaS/SaaS configuration and support processes
Experience in network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniques
Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresight
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team (team-building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a "do whatever it takes attitude")
This is a hybrid position (on-site McLean VA / remote)

Experience Working In The Following Technologies Required:
