Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Gotham Enterprises includes, but is not limited to, the following key responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough reviews of patient health histories to prepare for initial evaluations.
• Developing and implementing individualized mental health care plans that align with established standards of practice.
• Engaging in interviews with patients and their families to identify educational needs and to establish treatment goals.
• Evaluating patient responses to care and modifying treatment plans as needed to enhance outcomes.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care plans, ensuring open communication regarding patient status.
• Making appropriate referrals to other healthcare professionals when necessary, drawing on your network of contacts within the industry.
• Upholding patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Completing necessary documentation on cardiac rehabilitation forms and maintaining organized medical records in the designated system.

You will primarily engage with cardiac patients, whose mental health needs often intersect with complex medical histories. By understanding these intersections, you will provide tailored support that not only addresses mental health challenges but also complements their ongoing medical treatment. Your work will significantly impact their recovery and overall well-being.

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or psychologist license.
• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex health concepts effectively to patients and families.
• Competence in using digital tools for telehealth services and patient management.

While not mandatory, preferred candidates will have experience working in remote or outpatient settings, particularly with cardiac or chronic conditions. Familiarity with treatment modalities and educational workshops can also be advantageous.

The salary for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with your workload and the number of clients seen each week. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
