Open Mind Recovery Counseling P.C. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote outpatient team. • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, strengths, and available resources, incorporating tools such as structured interviews and standardized assessment scales.
• Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapies tailored to meet the unique needs of hospice clients, utilizing methodologies including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with each client, outlining specific therapeutic goals and appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for our clients.
• Facilitate crisis interventions, perform risk assessments, and develop safety plans as necessary, ensuring that all interventions adhere to best practice guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for streamlined communication.
• Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducation courses, offering clients support and fostering a sense of community among participants.

Our target client population includes hospice patients facing terminal illness, their families, and caregivers. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, demonstrating proficiency in a variety of therapeutic approaches.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment methodologies relevant to mental health.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills capable of establishing rapport with clients and their families.

• Experience working with hospice or palliative care populations, demonstrating an understanding of their unique emotional and psychological needs.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and remote therapeutic practices.
