• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients facing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.
• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, strengths, and goals, leading to the development of individualized treatment plans tailored to each client.
• Deliver crisis intervention services when necessary, ensuring clients receive timely support during critical moments. This includes utilizing therapeutic techniques that stabilize and support clients in times of distress.
• Engage family members and significant others in the counseling process, offering psychoeducation and support to maximize treatment effectiveness and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation, adhering to ethical guidelines and state regulations, while routinely assessing progress in therapy.
• Stay informed on current trends in mental health practices and participate in continuous learning opportunities, workshops, and training sessions to enhance clinical skills.

Your work at Empower Edge will primarily focus on a diverse client population from various backgrounds. Our clients include individuals seeking support for a wide array of emotional and psychological issues, ranging from mild adjustment issues to severe mental health disorders. The role demands a sensitivity to cultural, socioeconomic, and personal backgrounds, ensuring that every client feels respected and understood.

• A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is required. Candidates must also possess a current and valid LPC license issued by the Oregon State Board.
• Prior experience providing therapy to individuals from diverse backgrounds is essential, emphasizing a client-centered approach in all interactions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, alongside an ability to express complex ideas clearly and effectively.
• A commitment to ethical counseling practices, maintaining confidentiality at all times, is critical to this role.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in clinical decision-making.

• Experience with telehealth services is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other evidence-based practices.
• Experience collaborating in interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to clients.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
