• Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), aimed at helping clients manage stress and achieve emotional balance.
• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' unique stressors and therapeutic goals, and customize mindfulness practices accordingly.
• Lead clients through mindfulness exercises, guided meditation, and breathing techniques designed to enhance self-awareness and emotional regulation.
• Facilitate engaging group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building strategies to foster community support.
• Integrate mindfulness techniques into one-on-one therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns and supporting clients in their journey toward recovery and personal growth.
• Document client progress meticulously, including mindfulness interventions and treatment plans, to provide insight and continuity of care.
• Participate in regular professional development, including personal mindfulness practice and workshops, to deepen knowledge and skills in mindfulness therapies.

As a licensed mental health counselor at Olympus Mental and Wellness Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. Our focus on mindfulness training allows clients to cultivate awareness and develop effective coping strategies to manage their mental health challenges, promoting a culture of resilience and well-being. The remote nature of the role allows you to connect with clients across various demographics, making a significant impact on their lives from the comfort of their own spaces.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to create a supportive, calming therapeutic environment for clients.
• Dedication to fostering an atmosphere of trust and openness with clients, contributing positively to their therapeutic experience.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Prior training or experience in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or related mindfulness methodologies is highly desirable.
• Ability to seamlessly integrate mindfulness techniques into therapeutic practice, adapting approaches as necessary to meet individual client needs.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
