Position Overview

Spring Valley Psychiatric Services is actively seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Clinicians, including Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), to join our telehealth team. This full-time, remote position offers the unique opportunity to engage with clients across Spokane, Washington, ensuring high-quality mental health care through a virtual platform. Work Environment

This role will be conducted through a telehealth setting, allowing you to provide services to a diverse clientele from the comfort of your home or any designated remote office. Our flexible scheduling accommodates a standard workweek of Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some degree of flexibility required to meet the needs of our patients. You will be equipped with the necessary technology and support to facilitate effective virtual therapy sessions and consultations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand the unique challenges and needs of each client, utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions to create tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other recognized therapeutic modalities to address various mental health disorders.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation while ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and other governing standards to protect client confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, engaging regularly in case consultations and peer reviews to enhance the quality of care provided.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and relevant community resources, fostering an informed approach to health and wellness.
  • Commit to continuous professional development by staying informed about current research and advancements within the field of mental health therapy.

Qualifications
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.
  • Proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy interventions with a demonstrated capacity to adapt techniques to meet individual client needs.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
