Job description

The Company

Del Playa Group (DPG) is a U.S.-based professional services firm specializing in accounting, finance and audit solutions for businesses and CPA firms. We help clients expand capacity, strengthen controls, and elevate performance by offering three pillars: fractional CFO advisory, top offshore talent, and transformative technology.

Headquartered in Orange County, California, our mission at DPG is simple: “Help accounting and finance teams do more with less, without compromising quality and control.”

The Role

We're seeking a highly motivated Senior Sage Intacct Solutions Architect to join our growing Technology & Advisory Practice to collaborate with our United States operations. This is a highly technical, client-facing role responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, optimizing, and supporting Sage Intacct ERP solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Sage Intacct expert with a strong understanding of ERP implementation methodologies, system configuration, business process mapping, and integrations. An understanding of Accounting and Finance to bridge systems and processes will maximize execution with Del Playa’s accounting team and CFO. Familiarity with accounting processes is beneficial. Success in this position comes from designing scalable system solutions, translating business requirements into technical configurations, and delivering exceptional client implementation experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end Sage Intacct implementation projects from discovery through post-go-live support.

  • Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Sage Intacct configurations.

  • Configure company structure, dimensions, modules, workflows, approvals, user roles, permissions, and system settings.

  • Design and implement dashboards, financial reports, custom reports, and operational KPIs.

  • Support data migration activities, including data mapping, imports, validation, and reconciliation.

  • Coordinate and troubleshoot integrations between Sage Intacct and third-party applications using APIs and middleware solutions.

  • Conduct solution testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment activities.

  • Deliver administrator and end-user training sessions while developing implementation documentation and user guides.

  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve client business processes using Sage Intacct functionality.

  • Provide post-implementation support, system optimization, and ongoing technical recommendations.

  • Collaborate closely with CFOs, Controllers, Finance Leaders, developers, and cross-functional project teams.

  • Manage multiple implementation projects while ensuring timelines, milestones, and client expectations are met.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Sage Intacct implementation and configuration experience.

  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple ERP implementation projects.

  • Strong knowledge of Sage Intacct modules, dimensions, workflows, reporting, and security administration.

  • Experience with ERP implementation methodologies and business process analysis.

  • Experience supporting data migration and system integration.

  • Familiarity with REST APIs, middleware platforms, and third-party software integrations.

  • Strong project management and client-facing consulting experience.

  • Ability to align with U.S. business hours (PST) with flexibility based on client collaboration and project deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and project collaboration platforms.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with US partners and teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

  • Sage Intacct Implementation Certification.

  • Experience with Sage Intacct Platform Services.

  • Experience integrating Sage Intacct with Salesforce, HubSpot, Bill.com, Expensify, Avalara, Rippling, ADP, or similar business applications.

  • Experience working with U.S.-based accounting firms, finance organizations, or ERP consulting companies.

  • Exposure to financial reporting and accounting workflows is preferred but not required.

Key Attributes for Success

  • Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Ability to simplify complex business requirements into scalable ERP solutions.

  • Ability to communicate and present with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client implementations simultaneously.

  • High attention to detail while maintaining a strategic, solution-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent client relationship management and consulting skills.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
