This position is fully remote, offering flexibility while maintaining a structured schedule. Therapists are expected to work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility based on client needs. You will have the autonomy to create a workspace that suits you best while engaging with clients and colleagues through digital platforms.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments of clients to understand their mental health challenges and tailor personalized treatment plans that utilize solution-focused interventions.
• Implement various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring evidence-based practices are at the forefront of client care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations, ensuring patient confidentiality and compliance with all necessary standards.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review sessions to collectively enhance the quality of care delivered to clients.
• Provide educational support to clients and their families regarding mental health challenges, therapeutic options, and available community resources to empower them in their journey.
• Stay current with the latest research and developments in mental health to continuously improve therapeutic practices.

You will work with a diverse population of clients facing a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds and age groups, and it is essential to appreciate their unique perspectives while applying tailored therapeutic interventions.

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to navigate complex patient scenarios effectively.
• A collaborative mindset that appreciates the contribution of colleagues and promotes a cohesive team environment.

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in mental health counseling or therapy, ideally working with similar patient populations.
• Experience with various therapeutic modalities, particularly evidence-based practices that prioritize client engagement and outcomes.
