Looking for a PER DIEM Occupational Therapy Assistant for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Rochester, NY

WORK LOCATION: WESLEY GARDENS 3 Upton Park, Rochester, NY 14607, USA

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Provides skilled therapeutic intervention and services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  2. Follows all regulations and guidelines of facility including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA.
  3. Adheres to discussed scheduled hours and conducts self in a professional manner at all times.
  4. Provides documentation of patient’s condition, and provide caregiver/patient education as appropriate.
  5. Regularly discusses with supervising Occupational Therapist patient’s progress and any concerns or guidance needed.
  6. Ensures safe treatment practices and monitors patient’s engagement and responses to treatment, modifies as necessary.

Requirements include:

  1. Valid professional license
  2. Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  3. Preferred experience with rehab optima and skilled nursing facilities
  4. New graduates are welcome
