You will engage with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals committed to providing advanced rehabilitation services through an interdisciplinary approach. Our organization fosters a culture of support and continuous learning, encouraging staff to thrive and develop their skills further.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments by interviewing patients, observing behaviors, and reviewing medical records, to identify emotional, social, and environmental factors influencing recovery.
  • Provide tailored counseling sessions for patients and their families, helping them navigate adjustment issues, emotional challenges, and coping mechanisms.
  • Work closely with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to design and implement individualized treatment plans that address patientsโ€™ psychosocial needs.
  • Assist patients in connecting with essential community resources such as support groups, vocational rehabilitation services, and housing assistance to promote holistic recovery.
  • Educate patients and families about available resources, reinforcing strategies for post-rehabilitation sustainability and ongoing support.
  • Facilitate discharge planning, ensuring smooth transition processes for patients returning home or moving to alternative care settings.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Thrive Compassionate Counseling, you will engage with a diverse patient population, primarily individuals undergoing detoxification and rehabilitation. Our patients often present with a variety of conditions that require tailored psychological support, including substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and adjustment issues related to recovery. Your role directly impacts their ability to cope with these challenges, promoting improved psychological well-being and community integration.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
  • Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients and families.
  • Proficient understanding of psychosocial assessment tools and therapeutic interventions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in a rehabilitation or medical setting is highly desirable, as it enhances your ability to align with patient needs.
  • A solid understanding of community resources and support services is favored.
  • Familiarity with ongoing education regarding therapy techniques or care models that support recovery is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package includes a competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, Thrive Compassionate Counseling offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Health insurance coverage for employees and their families, guaranteeing access to essential medical care.
  • Retirement plans with employer contributions, supporting your long-term financial security.
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation days, sick leave, and holidays, to promote work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for professional development through conferences and workshops designed to enhance your skills and therapeutic approaches.
  • A sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
