Job description

Job Title: Occupational Health Physician Remote, Must speak Spanish & Must have CA state license

Specialty: Occupational Health / Occupational and Environmental Medicine

Place of Work (City/State): Remote California

Start Date: Oct 2026

Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time, excluding California State holidays. The physician must be available by phone, email, or virtual communication during scheduled hours.

License: Active and unrestricted California physician license in good standing Must required

Experience needed: Previous experience in occupational health, environmental medicine, pesticide exposure, toxicology, preventive medicine, epidemiology, or a closely related clinical field is required

Special Skills needed: Must be fluent in Spanish; strong knowledge of occupational and environmental health, pesticide-related illnesses and injuries, worker exposure, toxicology, preventive medicine, and physician reporting requirements; ability to review medical records, provide clinical recommendations, conduct literature reviews, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with healthcare providers, government personnel, and members of the public

Credentialing / Onboarding time: 6 weeks to 8 weeks

Responsibilities: Provide remote medical consultation to physicians and healthcare providers treating patients with suspected occupational or pesticide-related illnesses and injuries; recommend appropriate clinical testing and treatment options; review and evaluate medical records and exposure reports; respond to health-related inquiries from healthcare professionals and the public; analyze reported illnesses associated with pesticide exposure; provide medical guidance regarding occupational and environmental health concerns; assist with the development of educational materials and training; prepare technical reports and medical assessments; support research and surveillance activities; collaborate with State and Federal health professionals; maintain patient confidentiality; comply with HIPAA requirements; and submit monthly reports documenting services performed and hours worked.

Misc: This is a remote occupational health physician position. Candidates must speak Spanish fluently and hold an active California physician license. The physician must maintain availability during scheduled business hours and provide timely consultation by phone, email, or virtual meeting.
