The Growing Health Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote outpatient team. • Conduct assessments by engaging clients in discussions about their relationship concerns, personal histories, and emotional states to accurately gauge their needs.
• Provide targeted therapy sessions on a weekly basis for couples and families facing challenges such as divorce, custody disputes, mental health issues, and financial difficulties.
• Empower clients to develop personalized coping strategies, enhancing their conflict resolution skills for daily life situations.
• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring individualized treatment plans are in place to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Team up with professionals in the mental health field—including psychiatrists, social workers, and educators—to devise comprehensive treatment approaches tailored to the clients' needs.
• Evaluate and observe children during court-mandated therapy sessions, providing insights and recommendations for family custody decisions.
• Assist clients in navigating external resources that support their therapeutic journey, such as housing programs, financial assistance, and community support services.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions with colleagues on strategies for managing life stressors, contributing to professional development initiatives within the organization.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• A valid and active professional state license to practice therapy is essential.
• Completion of an internship program in Marriage and Family Therapy will be necessary for this role.
• Strong interpersonal skills characterized by a personable and empathetic demeanor are crucial for successful client engagement.

• Experience in counseling high-conflict couples or families, particularly in scenarios involving divorce or custody disputes.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
• Background in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in mental health settings.
• Skills in crisis management and conflict resolution techniques would be advantageous.

• Our competitive salary ranges from USD 80,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
