The 'remote' aspect means the courier is based outside of a central office and may be dispatched from various locations depending on client needs. Remote OBCs ensure that items are delivered quickly and securely by personally accompanying them throughout the journey, handling customs, and maintaining chain-of-custody. This role requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to travel on short notice.

Familiarity with CRM software, predictive dialers, and call scripting tools is often required. Persistence, active listening, and resilience are crucial soft skills that help agents handle rejections and build rapport with prospects. These skills ensure effective customer engagement, higher conversion rates, and overall success in a remote sales or support environment.
